Iron Horse Bicycles is a manufacturer of bicycles which has its roots in Islandia, New York, United States. Iron Horse is know for it’s mountain bikes, but mainly downhill, freeride, and all mountain. Dorel Industries purchased Iron Horse Bicycle Company in 2009. Dorel also owns iconic brands like Cannondale, GT, Mongoose and Schwinn brands. Iron Horse riders include legends like Dave Cullinan, Kim Sonier, Penny Davidson, Toby Henderson, Leigh Donovan, Pete Loncarevich and Sam Hill. Cullinan won the downhill world championship in 1992 and Sam Hill won the World Championships in 2007 and 2010.
